What is Ho'oponopono?

Ho'oponopono is an ancient Hawaiian forgiveness practice based on the concept that whatever is going on in our outer world is a reflection of what is going on in our inner world. Native Hawaiian families would gather to remedy misunderstandings and miscommunication with one another leveraging the practice.

A modern version, known as Self I-dentity through Ho'oponopono, was developed by Morrnah Nalamaku Simeone, named a Kahuna.  The psychologist Dr. Ihalekala Hew Len was inspired to train with for a number of years before her passing in 1992.  It was his work with Ho'oponopono at the Hawaii State Penitentiary that made this practice famous, the details of which are outlined in a book he co-wrote about his experiences with Joe Vitale titled Zero Limits
